18 RV Parks near Redgranite, Wisconsin
Aug 2015 - $36.00
Sites are narrow but long. Some require long hose/extension cord depending on trailer placement. Beachside sites available. Staff is very courteous. Best customer service we've had anywhere, although bar/store hours could be expanded. Restrooms and showers are mopped daily. Very clean. Sites are sandy. Hiking trails are not marked well. Children could get lost easily if not accompanied by an adult. Tall pine trees sway in the breeze at night. Beautiful trees. Cheap wood/ice. $4 for large bundles of wood and $2 for 7 lb bags of ice. Limited store. Groceries/dollar store 3 miles away. Very nice and courteous staff. Would stay there again. - Jimicos
Aug 2014 - $26.00
All the sites are sand. Utilities were a little strange. Water and electric were at opposite ends. Lots of permanents. Would not stay there again. It's quite run down. - har-fl
Jun 2018 - $58.00
Very large campground with a lot of amenities. Registration office serves hot food, ice cream and has almost anything you could need for purchase. If you forgot it I would guess they have it. Site we stayed on was a good size but some where not as big. Cabins also available for rent. Campground has a lake with rental boats, paddle boards and kayaks as well as large inflatables. It also has a sand beach and beach hut with snacks. There is also a pool with slide, kiddie pool and adult pool with swim up bar. These were all to busy for us to use the weekend we were there. There are also playgrounds, a game room and mini golf. Only has one dump station which makes check out time very busy. - 5thatdrive
Jun 2017 - $60.00
Our site was super un level and had to call the office to get additional boards to level it out. Others seemed to be better. They have some concrete slabs on the premier sites. They have a pool swim up bar which is a first for me at a campground that is really nice. A nice splash pad area and pool for the kids and a great beach with Wibit inflatables which are a lot of fun. Park is large and a golf cart will cut down on the walking. Huge pine trees throughout and some of the sites are quite large. Kids had a blast with all the stuff and I think it might be a yearly visit for us. - Campingwi
Jul 2016 - $40.00
Site 146 was a serious pain to get level in....grass site with so many bumps and hills that we ultimately gave up and grew satisfied with a slightly off-level stay. Connections in oddly placed areas. Overall, the park had a lot of amenities, offered wifi which was a huge blessing because our verizon jetpack barely connected (verizon cell phone did not get service here) Very hot while we were here so we appreciated the lake beach. Swimming pool seemed to offer a lot of excitement, but we're just not excitement kind of people so we skipped it. If we were here during a busier time, we would not have been unable to back in to our site, as the access road was narrow and it would have been very tricky to get around the trees and poles and cabins in the way (we "pulled through" an adjoining site to get in.) Given we were trying to stay closer to other family members, we kept our given site but would otherwise have tried to find a different one. Excellent camp store and lots of opportunities to waste money on arcade-like machines and "mining" for the kids. We thought the rate was far too high for what was offered. - ThreeTravellingBlondes
Jun 2018 - $59.00
This park does have a lot of seasonal campers but it it does have some for the weekenders as well. We stayed in a full hook up and it included a deck. The site was large enough for us. The swimming pool was really nice with a 9ft deep end not something you see often. It has a large playground, a decent game room above the bar, mini golf, $29 canoe trip per boat, a fishing pond, weekend activities and a camp store. The bar also served food and we had the Friday fish fry which was really good as well as a bacon cheeseburger while staying here. The food was great but even more impressive is they keep the prices down. Tap Miller Lite is $2 and Tap Spotted Cow is $3. Overall this was a great camping experience and one I would return to. - Schultefam
Oct 2017 - $55.00
This is an old park with a lot of seasonal campers. It's a little hard to navigate but really should not be a problem. The sites are not very level or well marked on where you should park. Some of the pedestals were shared with other sites and you could move the fire rings anywhere you want. Overall its pretty run down. The plus side is it's located in a stand of beautiful pines, if camping with a group you can park your rigs any which way you want. All of the seasonal folks we encountered were nice and our group had a good time. If passing thru for the night I would look elsewhere but if you have a group that is looking for a place to go might be worth checking out. - Campingwi
Jul 2015 - $52.00
I am not one to leave poor reviews, but this place was not good. We stayed here while visiting relatives in the area. We had reservations for 2 days and we stayed one day and left. We had a full hook-up site reserved and paid for in advance. We arrived and checked in and went back to our site and the was only about 35' long and that was being generous. They knew when I made the reservation that I had a 38' 5th wheel, it was also on the paperwork at check in and they still assigned me the site. After sitting at the site and trying to figure out how a trailer was to even park in here, one of the office staff drove out and pointed out to me how they generally park in here. He comment "you have a big unit for this site." I went back to the office and picked a different site, got a water and electric from a full hook up we were originally to have that was paid for. I ask them if there was any difference in price and they said it was about $20 difference , but there would be a $10 site transfer charge and it would all have to be approved through the manager who would come and talk to me the next day. He never hunted me down to talk to me and never called me on my cell phone the number in which they had from my original reservation. I was very disappointed in there service and all the amenities that they were supposedly to have that we did not see. It appeared that the park was not very well maintained. The pool was nice, but had an awful lot of chlorine in it. I will not be returning and am still waiting on that phone call for my refunded difference from the manager. - PackerFanRick
Aug 2016 - $52.00
We stayed 3 nights. In that time, we met many of the staff and each person was friendly and helpful. The entire campground was clean and very well-kept. There are 3 pools and a splash pool. All were clean. There is a pond where you can rent paddle boards. On Saturday night there was an outdoor, family movie. The bathrooms and showers were spotless. We are looking forward to going back. - Jameille
May 2015 - $42.00
The campground is going through what looks like a fairly major overhaul. The pond (Whitetail Springs) is much cleaner and nicer than it was two years ago and a lot of the sites had been re built and there was quite a bit of construction going on. It was never loud or obtrusive, but there was definitely activity about as they are trying to improve the facilities. I would definitely ask if the site you're looking at is near construction or is being redone.
We were there before the pools were open but they do have 3 pools with one being adults only. The other major amenity is the 9 hole golf course. A lot of people were playing it and it looked like a lot of fun. If you're looking for more of a challenge, Lawsonia is right across the street and that is one (actually two) of the most beautiful and challenging golf courses you're going to ever play.
Our site did not have a sewer hookup (only two nightly sections do) but their dump station area was clean and odor free. Easy to get in and out of without being right at the main gate.
The camp store and the people running it were great. Coffee, great looking snacks and a cheerful group of people providing great service.
We had no problem getting to our site with our 5th wheel, but I can see there might be some sites we would have struggled with so look at the map and know your unit.
The water was clean, pressure was good, Verizon wireless was adequate, their wi-fi was strong, but slow.
We'll definitely go back. - Samron68
May 2011 - $45.00
This campground is very family friendly. All activities included in the main price. There are no extra fees required. Bath houses are very clean and well kept. Swimming pools are very spacious with plenty of room for everyone. Office staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Great golf course located on site free to campers. Mini golf was also free. Kids had a great time here. - werazoo
Mar 2019 - $75.00
This campground, has over the past few years, become a joke, under the leadership of the manager, who is by no means a manager of any sort. This park has more things unrepaired and broken than not. The pool heater does not work, we have seen sewage leaking up through a manhole cover by the swamp, no security to speak of, thefts are a common place thing here, it is really a horrible place. Which is sad, it used to be such a nice park, took a turn for the worse when the current manager started. The park is unsafe with no security or gate at all, anyone can come and go at anytime of the day or night, no questions asked. Roads are total crap, noting but potholes, no upkeep of any kind here. Do yourself a favor, drive right past this place and go elsewhere, anywhere but here. - Stay-Away-from yogi
Jul 2018 - $50.00
The information is a little misleading. The park is 30 amp and no sewer. A few sporadic sites are long term or permanent folks with higher amp and sewer. The sites were level and there were several with no trees which was great. No cable and you could purchase WiFi. Not at all what I expected. The biggest issue was the amount of duck feces all around the grounds including our picnic tables, the play area and all around the site. It was not pleasant at all. - Lucy and Ethel5w
May 2018 - $52.00
We stayed here in our Airstream Motorhome. Nice level, back in, site on the canal, next to the lake with lots of tree cover. Great campground for fishing on Partridge Lake and the Wolf River. Beautiful sunrise and sunset on the Lake. The campground has lots to do for kids and was a very diverse and comfortable mix of campers. We will definitely come back! - Thomas DeBruin
Jun 2013 - $24.00
My husband, grandchildren, and I camped here to attend a family birthday party in Appleton, and no other camping options were available. The campground was clean enough, and the campsites were level and quite nice, lots of mature trees. However, the seasonal units, for the most part, were very run-down and depressing to look at. There were two canals running through the campground, both of which were green and scummy, as was the swimming pond. We did not find the other campers, nor the owner, to be particularly friendly. I would not recommend this campground and do not plan to return. - TrixieBelle559
Sep 2018 - $1.00
Fountain Lake RV Park is a membership lease ownership park near Almond Wisconsin. We had the advantage of following our friends who owned the lot to their park so they knew the best way, including a great truck stop for a break.
Although we were able to navigate the narrow roads, I really wouldn't call it big rig friendly. Following them helped here too as they knew to tell us to swing wide and what to avoid during and after the turns. The roads were gravel as was our site with a concrete patio. The hookups were convenient and we had a great line of sight for our roof mounted satellite dish. - Bob & Jo
Sep 2018 - $28.00
This is a gem located in the countryside between Waupaca and Almond. Very quiet, peaceful and beautifully landscaped park. This is more suited to adults as its summer residents are mostly retired and live here in the summer. - good life
Jul 2018 - $28.00
Great park to spend some time at if you like peace and quiet!! - Cfree55
Jul 2016 - $15.00
We have stayed at this park several times over the past two summers because it is near to family and convenient. It lacks sewer and water hookups, but large, clean bathrooms make up for it. The park is well maintained, with long, level, gravel pull through sites. - USA-RVNomads
Aug 2015 - $15.00
Small but impressive campground. Price is excellent but there is no sewer hookup and 50 amps are limited to very few. Self register, dump station and water available. - Karen86
Jul 2014 - $15.00
This is intended as an overnight park. The sites are level, gravel with easy access in and out. There is very limited 50-amp. Water and dump is at the office. There are 2 bathrooms / showers in the office area. You will need the key code to use them. Call for the code if needed. Phone and your cellular device will run on 3G, so slow loading on the Internet. There is clear reception whether dome or portable dish. There is no Wi-Fi in the park. We have stayed here 3 times for multiple nights and will return when we return to the area. Address is 1938 E. Main, Omro, WI 54963 - Workamper04
Jul 2014 - $37.00
The positive first: - Very beautiful site, we had #127 in a corner with beautiful trees surrounding a porch deck and further down a fire pit area in the grass. So two levels and very private. Quiet and very little traffic. Pool clean and looked new. Store open with a decent selection of products. Very nice owners, helped us with packages and letters. Toilets clean. Power stable.10 minute ride to Waupaca. Very good Verizon coverage. Extremely beautiful area and campground. Not a field but wooded small hills. Pool was in the mid eighties when we were there. Then the negative: - Absolutely no Wi-Fi so we had to spend 100 dollars to Verizon for the three weeks. Parking is hard since sites are pretty small. We parked under a pine tree that dropped some sap, to be expected but a thought, you have to be on your toes to navigate a big rig through. So to summarize, a hidden gem in Wisconsin in a very beautiful area and with caring and friendly owners on location that helps you with whatever you ask for. Try it out! We planned to stay a week but extended it to three. However our only wish for the future is Wi-Fi. Today as important as water and electricity for us fulltimers. - BasilFawlty
May 2012 - $30.00
The owner's are a tad strict, nice but strict on some stuff. The pool was heated and was nice. The sites are well groomed and the concrete pads are nice and level. We will be back again! - aimee21
Jul 2011 - $35.00
This park claims "big rig friendly" but we do not agree. The roads are on hills, very narrow, and partly paved, partly dirt with HUGE deep ruts and wash outs. Traffic directions rules not enforced. We had great difficulty driving to our site and meeting a vehicle going the wrong way. Trees so thick we could not get satellite, even though we requested a satellite friendly site as previous reviewer advised. We were merely told that they didn't know if a site could get satellite or not. Pads are concrete and spaced nicely apart from neighbor, however, maneuvering a 40 ft motorhome in around the trees with such a narrow roadway with RV's parked directly across from you right up to the roadway is quite a challenge. Overpriced and definitely will not come back. - BeckyV
