Very family oriented park. Agree with previous comments. Nice location for visits to Door County. Lots of state/county parks and lighthouses. Pleasant stay after Labor Day weekend. Practically deserted. We camped at Harbour Village Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The hand carved wood chapel on the Bjorklunden campus of Lawrence University between Baileys Harbor and Jacksonport on Hwy 57 is unique and worth seeing. They do tours in the summer but you won't find it in any brochures. Google map search for Boynton Chapel. Cana Island lighthouse is worth the tractor/trailer ride across the inlet (if the lake is still high). Didn't go but people rave about Washington Island.

Overall Rating:

We stayed in a motor home in the early part of June 2019. The check in folks were just getting organized so the check in process was a bit slow but no problem--everyone has to learn. Large heavily wooded pull though site with lots of room for the toad. Good WiFi. No sewer at the site but not a problem. No neighbors for a week, then started to fill up for the weekend, but still very quiet. Friendly and helpful staff. Had an electrical surge but Progressive EMS took care of the problem with no damage. Much to do at the park--pool, water slide, etc. We were here early June 2019 so tourist season had not started. Shops and restaurants just getting open. Good times. We camped at Harbour Village Resort in a Motorhome.

This is a huge park, and has so much to do. Mini golf, water park, nice camp store with supplies and groceries. Very convenient for touring Door County, but you may not want to leave! Only drawback is no sewer, but it's nice to let someone else do it for a change. And your tanks are much cleaner after a pump out. Adult staff friendly and helpful. Wi-Fi only at office. We camped at Harbour Village Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

We stayed here during the week and it was fairly quiet. The check-in process was extremely slow. The young kids at check-in could have been more knowledgeable about things at the park and in the area. They did offer a waterpark and a man made pond for swimming. The did have alot of things at the park to do. Soccer, basketball, jumpy pillow, bike and skateboard area. The kids had a great time. We stayed at a wooded site just behind the office, it was fairly private quiet and not far from the bathhouse. They have many seasonal and you could not see or hear them from the area we were at. You would not know this park was near as big as it was without going and walking around. We will most likely be back. The kids enjoyed playing BINGO. We camped at Harbour Village Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

The park is a full service park with one exception, no sewer at site. Two dump sites located in park and a pump service will come to your site for $22 per dump.

The sites are both pull thru and back in with water and 30/50A, packed earth, level (for the most part), tree-lined and spacious between sites with picnic table and fire ring. I was able to park my 40' Class A towing an 18' trailer connected with additional room front and rear. The roadways within the park are a mixture of packed earth, gravel and pavement.

Office staff is very friendly. Consisted mostly of teenagers working a summer job. I suspect this because the park has a large water slide pool with a shallow kiddie pool, a separate adult pool located by the office, a small pond/beach that you can swim in, a separate little pond for catch and release fishing, outdoor playground with climbing apparatus, miniature golf, an enclosed basketball netted area, a large air bag that is used like a large trampoline and a hiking trail.

When a guest checks in, 5 park bands are provided to identify registered guests. Additional bands can be purchased. The office is also the store which appears stocked with incidental items for camping and for your camper. Cold non-alcoholic beverages and snacks sold also.

The park is quiet. With all of the kid-related amenities, it was quiet. Laundry and bath house was a quick walk from my site at site 59. I was parked as though I was deep in the forest preventing me from extending my awning, but the area for picnicing and fire ring was open and clear of trees and other landscaping. The trees buffer your camp site from your neighbors. We camped at Harbour Village Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Close to Sturgeon Bay amenities like shopping and sight-seeing. When we traveled here, the bridge on 42/57 was in stages of construction, so detours through Sturgeon Bay required navigating some narrow roadways and traffic control signals. Keep an eye out for the detour signs and it should be not problem.

Have been camping here for 3 years now, absolutely love it! The glow rides, the water park our daughter loves! Staff is friendly and helpful, sites are big enough (we camp in the pull-throughs). Look forward to spring so we start camping here again!! Highly recommended! We camped at Harbour Village Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Would have given this park a 10 except that sewer is NOT available at each site! Also, they need to have better trained staff at the reservation desk. Did not know how to handle an RPI reservation.

This is a very well maintained park. Very clean and tidy and the sites are very spacious. It also has LOTS of amenities including a huge water park. You are given armbands for free use of all amenities. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Harbour Village Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

Rate is RPI discount except not good on weekends, when it is $57. Worst thing is no sewer but did have pump out service (although it was broken when I needed it) and 3 dump stations. Although it is possible to get in with a big rig they should have some one way roads as people had to pull over so that I could get through. Roads are gravel and not well maintained, i.e., pot holes. Satellite from the roof came in as I was in open field area otherwise most sites and in the woods. Table and fire pits. Utilities worked. Appears to be no policing of activities at night and fires burned well in to night filling motorhome with smoke and with lots of noise on weekends. Great place for kids with water slide, pond and many activities. Verizon cell came in OK but MiFi for Internet had no reception. Ingress and egress by the office is very congested with children renting bikes - very dangerous with a big rig. Would not stay here again. We camped at Harbour Village Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

The young man who checked us in knew nothing about the park: directions, features. Shower water was off some times. There was no Wi-Fi except at the laundry. Some sites are heavily wooded, claustrophobic. The meadow sites were spacious and level. We stayed for four nights. We will look for another park if we return to the area. We camped at Harbour Village Resort in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: October, 2012 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very nice clean RV park. The camp store was well stocked, and our site was level. We had requested and were placed in the north end of the campground which is in the open area (for satellite reception). Interior roads are gravel and well maintained but a bit dusty. The sewer dump was remote and easy to use as they provided the sewer hose which facilitated dumping. This is a busy park summer and fall and we were there in October, the weekend before closing and it was packed. Nice long trails and large area to walk the dog. The waterpark was not open in October, but it looked very nice and is part of the campground fee. Our $22.50 fee reflects Passport America membership. We will certainly camp here again. We camped at Harbour Village Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Date of Stay: August, 2009 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice, clean, well maintained park. It is located between Sturgeon Bay and Egg Harbor. It has private sites, owners sites, seasonal sites, and about 50 sites available to the general public. We paid the Passport America rate. Roads are narrow, dirt and winding. Some sites are heavily wooded, while others are in the open with fewer trees. Our site was in the open area. It was spacious, level and had lots of grass. Satellites work in this area. Sites have 50 amp electricity and water (no sewer). Sites in this area are big rig friendly and the narrow roads can be navigated by being careful. Our AT&T telephone worked fine, but our Verizon aircard had a very weak signal and barely worked. They had Wi-fi, but it only worked near the office. The park wasn't full on weekdays, but filled up with families on weekends. There are lots of activities for kids including a waterpark and also an adult only pool. When the park is full, there is a lot of dust from the roads, and smoke from the campfires. We camped at Harbour Village Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This park is in Door County, WI which is a noted vacation area above Green Bay, WI with water sports, fishing, wineries, restaurants, theater groups and hiking nearby. Half the sites are in heavily wooded areas while half are in a lightly treed area with good access for satellites. Telephone and air card connections are marginal. The resort includes a huge water park with two slides and a 6,000 sf pool. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and look forward to longer stays. We stayed on an RPI membership which limits us to one week at this price. We camped at Harbour Village Resort in a Motorhome.
