Very nice quiet campground with very good WiFi, which I appreciate. We did come after Labor Day week-end, so it was not busy. Crushed white stone site surface that will splash your rig in a downpour which happened to us. We will come back, it's a nice area. Friendly, courteous management. Showers are coin pay, 2 minutes for 25 cents, like a self serve car wash, lol. Never have seen that before? We camped at Scheffel's Hideaway Campground in a Motorhome.

Several days stay in our Class A, 45' motorhome with tow. Site was mostly level with picnic table & fire ring. Quiet campground surrounded by pine trees, close to Two Rivers (2 mi). Owners are available, friendly & eager to help. All roads and sites are gravel creating LOTS of dust if no recent rain. Easy day trips in the area...Green Bay, Milwaukee, Door County. The worst part was the HARD WATER, full of minerals. Even with filters, the hard water spotted/stained many of our appliances. Suggest RVers be prepared with significant water conditioning equipment. Pay showers available. We camped at Scheffel's Hideaway Campground in a Motorhome.

Very well maintained, newer and quiet campground. Our site was perfectly level. Very friendly owners. The host rides her bike through the campground several times a day and does her best to make sure everything is satisfactory and you are enjoying your stay. She even stopped by as we were packing up to say good-by and thank us. More of an older crowd (like us) seem to stay there. Showers and laundry are available and a nice walking/biking trail next to the campground in the state forest. I would have to rate this as one of the very best campground we have ever stayed at and will definitely be back! We camped at Scheffel's Hideaway Campground in a Motorhome.

They had a good selection of campsites that were wooded or sunny. There was a decent amount of space between campsites. Sites were gravel and level with a nice picnic table area and fire pit. Park was very clean. Everything is perfectly maintained. Owners were very sweet and have lots of plans to enhance the campground. Very nice place. We camped at Scheffel's Hideaway Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed at this park for a month. Great park with good wifi and TV. Park has wide smooth gravel or chat roads and sites. Beautiful trees surround the park and provide shade. Walking trails lead from the park to the shoreline of Lake Michigan. They have a great recreational or meeting room with a covered patio and large screen TV. Not all sites are full hookup so call ahead. Sites are wide with lots of room from you neighbor.. Very close to town and shopping. Nice restaurant and bar next to park. Managers/owners are great people. They are friendly and willing to help with any problem. This park is well maintained. We camped at Scheffel's Hideaway Campground in a Motorhome.

Pretty park convenient to state parks. Easy to find and easy in and out. Owners are very nice and park in nicely maintained. We found it a great location for visiting the small towns in this part of Wisconsin, even for day trips to Sturgeon Bay and Green Bay. Would stay again. We spent a week at Scheffel's Hideaway in a 40-foot motorhome. The site was wide and reasonably level with 50-amp full hookup. The two negatives were weak wifi and hard water. The park is adjacent to a state park and there is a terrific hiking/biking trail called the Rawley Point Trail immediately accessible from the campground. The showers and restrooms were immaculate. There is a restaurant (closed on Monday and Tuesday) immediately adjacent to the campground. We camped at Scheffel's Hideaway Campground in a Motorhome.

Stayed for a week in a pull through site with our 42 foot 5th wheel. The Site was dirt/stone and somewhat unlevel since one side of the rig lifted completely off the ground when leveled. Had to park the truck in sideways in order to fit. There is no Cable TV, however you will get some over the air channels. Cell phone coverage was also spotty. WiFi was spotty at times as well but going to the patio near the office solved that. The dirt roads are neat and wide enough, however they will get dust on everything. The water is not very good for drinking or ice making due to the dissolved solids in it. The town of Two Rivers is close by as is Lake MIchigan. We camped at Scheffel's Hideaway Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Town of Two Rivers is home of the ice cream sundae. Beautiful state park is nearby (Point Beach SP). Green Bay and Lambeau Field are within 30 miles. Kohler, WI (home of the faucet-maker) is near Sheboygan and within 45 miles. Great plant tours given. The restaurant (Port Beach) has an excellent fish fry on Fridays.

I would have to rate this as one of the most well kept campground I have ever stayed at. The owners treated us like family and were so attentive to everyone's needs. It was so obvious they loved what they were doing. It was adjacent to hiking and biking trails and a short distance to Two Rivers Town Beach on the shores of Lake Michigan. I would highly recommend this park to anyone traveling in the area. We camped at Scheffel's Hideaway Campground in a Motorhome.

One of the nicest campgrounds we have stayed in as we are traveling the country. The sites are large and easy to get into. We had a pull through spot and had no difficulties with our 39' fifth wheel. When we arrived the owner guided us to our spot and made sure everything was in order and we were satisfied before leaving. When traveling in this area again we will definitely stay at Scheffel's. This park is quiet and very clean with plenty of room to park any size rig. It's very easy in and out, some sites have trees for shade. Town is located about 2.5 miles away.

There is a trail from the camp leading to Lake Michigan which is about a mile away.

We loved that we could hear the crickets and frogs at night.

They have:

4 showers

2 washer and dryers

Playground for kids

A nice man made waterfall to sit and relax. We camped at Scheffel's Hideaway Campground in a Motorhome.

A fairly new campground with lots of new trees and bushes planted; however, surrounded by pines and dense forest so has privacy from the highway. Well groomed trails on-site that lead to a beach. Town and shopping within 2-3 miles. Great family restaurant within walking distance. Owners are very pleasant. Free wifi. Some pull-through sites. Very clean. Lots of things to do and see within a 30-mile radius. We camped at Scheffel's Hideaway Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Within a 30-mile radius-Lambeau Field in Green Bay; submarine tour in Manitowoc, car ferry across Lake Michigan; late summer/early fall = bing cherry/apple season; touristy Door County just to the north; campground alongside gorgeous Point Beach State Park; Two Rivers two miles away; restaurant next to campground with nice menu; take a paper map-GPS not accurate in getting us there.

We agree with the previous July review, dusty gravel throughout the park, pull-through sites all way too short to allow toad to remain hooked-up, owners couldn't be nicer or more accommodating. All the pull-through sites are in the open and offer a good choice if you need satellite access, while the sites along the west back edge of the park in fully wooded. We did not check restrooms or laundry. Be prepared for water is extremely hard, probably the hardest that we've ever encountered in an RV campground. We camped at Scheffel's Hideaway Campground in a Motorhome.
