Not a typical KOA, pretty much all gravel, sites close, but not uncomfortably so. Mostly just a gravel parking lot with a few trees and sites. VERY friendly and helpful hosts. Good WiFi using WiFi Ranger We camped at Casper KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Office was closed from 1-3pm. Got there before 3 and had to wait for them to check in. Don't bother getting here before 3:00 PM. Just here for one night, therefore didn't need any bells or whistles. Our site gave us an unobstructed view of the mountains. Limited live TV stations (no cable). Nice personnel but limited options in their store. If you like gravel, you'll love this place! We camped at Casper KOA in a Motorhome.

Not a pretty park at all. Just a gravel lot with hookups. Utilities are placed in the rear 1/3 of the site and work as expected. There are few 50 amp sites mostly 30 amp. Sites are typical KOA tight, level, and all gravel. Park is located next to I-25 but road noise is not too bad. OK for a overnight or two. We camped at Casper KOA in a Motorhome.

Not one blade of grass. Went to walk the dog, he does not like walking in rocks.... found a nice grassy area only to see a sign "No Dogs". Not many trees in the entire park, if you get a tree you are lucky. It's low 90s and sitting on a bed of rocks does nothing for controlling the heat. We were not guided to our site, and with all the gravel, we made pretty good guesses on getting back to our site by following the map. It was early in the day, so there were not many RVs. No road/site markings at all except the electric pedestal. Close to highway. Friendly staff. We camped at Casper KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a gravel lot with hookups here and there. Don't be fooled by pictures of grass pads on their website; it's a lie. Indoor poor is nice; mini golf is small and not worth it. Bathrooms were clean. There is not a blade of grass to be found, and this place is generally pretty hostile to dogs of any type. Might be fine for a stopover, but keep expectations low. My picnic table "pad" was mere inches from my neighbor's septic. Gross. We camped at Casper KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

just spent one evening there the staff where very helpful always a smiling face park has a nice layout where it appears have many guest .Was a bit windy when we where there easy in and out watch the road was hard on my 30 ft class A hopefully it will be done soon . I drove a 30 ft Allegro open road there is a concern on the exit 108 you pass through a tunnel that is only 13ft 3in I was warned by the staff since I didn't really know I was directed to exit 110 that is 13ft 6in and backtracked couple miles . I did climb up on rig and checked its height there would no have been a problem so food for thought know how high you are. I have no problem staying again for a night. We camped at Casper KOA in a Motorhome.

We have family in Casper, so we decided to try a couple of different parks. This one is 5 miles north of Casper with relatively easy access from I-25 (watch for the signs for the office; it's all the way to the western edge of the park). Staff was friendly and helpful. Interior roads are all gravel and we were able to maneuver a big rig without issue. Sites were well sized at 60-degree angles, gravel, and pretty level. Power was good, Wi-Fi was good (not secure and periodic drops when inactive), DirecTV and OTA were good, and VZW was good. There are not many perma-rigs (long-term residents). We were here over Independence Day and had a great view of the fireworks from the Casper Events Center by simply walking across the street with our folding chairs. We camped at Casper KOA in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:
The Hanger restaurant behind the park is an interesting and kid-friendly place to eat, and learn about the history of the town as an airport (yes, the streets were once runways and taxiways). The pizza place behind the park is a biker bar that tolerates some pretty rough language.

An older KOA, true, but it's clean, everything works, and it can handle any size rig. This is an overnight KOA, not a "holiday KOA." The indoor swimming pool was lovely, as one could swim and cool off without being in the hot sun. Didn't use the hot tub. Camp store was nice, staff extremely friendly and helpful. WiFi was excellent. Over the air TV was okay, if you like TV. The sites are nearby, but not so close that one feels crowded. As a staging area for visiting the Casper region, this is an excellent location. We camped at Casper KOA in a Motorhome.

This is an old ran down park with the KOA brand stamped on it. It fit our needs fine. Stayed one night in a pull thru site. Indoor pool was nice but the hot tub was not working. Showers were old and in major need of updating. I encountered the two friendliest women working in the office. They were extremely helpful for telling me the best route to take to South Dakota. I also had to print some documents in the office and they were more than helpful. They made our whole stay. We camped at Casper KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Me thinks most of Bar Nunn lives here. That aside, this is an ancient KOA in need of updating. Sites on top of each other, office and store in what to me is a dilapidating building. I think we paid around $40, I rarely keep receipts. Just not any other options close by. We camped at Casper KOA in a Travel Trailer.
