Initially, we planned to stay overnight on our way up to Idaho but after reading reviews, we thought we'd stay a few weeks to visit nearby lakes, Jackson and the Grand Tetons. Although a bit far from Jackson for frequent trips, we still loved Highline. There is a mix of guests, long-term and short, boon dockers and tent campers. Spaces are HUGE (length and width) with lots of green space. The pictures on the website are accurate. Trees are good size and washing facilities clean. The views of the Wind River Range are beautiful and unobstructed. It doesn't feel like the parking lot-styled RV parks typically found in busier places like Arizona and that's a good thing! Great value for stay. The staff is very nice, conscientious and can always be seen/found working around the park. We'd be extremely happy to stay here again. We camped at Highline Trail RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

The nearby town of Pinedale is small but worth a visit. The veteran memorial park near the river is lovely and the walking path makes for a lovely short walk. The Skyline drive and adjacent lakes are beautiful with several hiking trails for your enjoyment.

We reserved Highline Trail for 1 month based on previous reviews and were not disappointed. Our rate reflects a monthly rate. Highline Trail is located in a good spot to see and enjoy this part of Wyoming. The sites are very large, spaced well and all the hookups, especially electric were very good. Many sites have shade trees. There are a number of large green grass areas that almost make you feel as if you're in a park. The biggest problem for us was the wifi, which during certain hours was not good, and our Verizon service only showed 1 bar. Always good for voice communication but many times poor for data. The young owners are very nice, friendly and work every day to keep the park beautiful. We camped at Highline Trail RV Park in a Motorhome.

Best overall restaurant THE DEN in Daniels. Excellent food, service, menu and wine list. Best Mexican restaurant is Los Cabos. Best hamburgers, the Burger Barn. As good as we've ever had.

One of the best we've stayed at! The operators seemed to always be involved in some manner of site improvement. The sites are huge and all the utilities worked perfectly. Despite the remote location their WiFi was acceptable. ...Speaking of the location; unless you have been through this country before, you will be floored by the "full length" view of the Wind River Range that is afforded you. ...This is a perfect location if you want to make side trips to the Green River Lakes, Pinedale/Fremont Lake, Elkhart Park, Boulder Lake, etc. We camped at Highline Trail RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a hidden gem in the Wyoming countryside. Large, spacious sites with plenty of room on all sides. Manicured park with nice shade trees spaced out all over the park. Easy access to and from highway and sites. The management is very helpful, friendly, and courteous. Definitely a place that is highly desirable. We camped at Highline Trail RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Rate reflects Good Sam Discount. Sites are large and level, electric is steady, water pressure is a little low at 40psi. Sewer connection at the middle of the site, some extra hose required from back of site. Wifi works most of the time, is fine for checking news, email and light surfing. Verizon has 4G but only 2 bars, however it worked well enough. There is a lot of green grass on this park; the owners are always out and about working. Park is kept very clean. The lady who runs the park is very knowledgeable about things to see and do in the area. Park has about half long term, many workers, some loud early morning diesels, also the noise from the highway can be very loud but it does quiet down at night. For most of the long terms and quite a few guests as well, the dog leash rule is just a suggestion. They do have a dry camp area for both RVs and tents. We would stay here again if in the area. We camped at Highline Trail RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Not much in Boulder itself, there's a Ridleys in Pinedale for groceries. Several restaurants and eateries also there. Visit Museum of the Mountain Man in Pinedale, Trappers Point, and Somers Living History Museum. The Skyline drive is very nice with great views of the western mountains.

Beautiful park, Beautiful people. Large, gravel sites with watered grass in between. All utilities work fine, including wifi (we do have an external antenna) Owners come around regularly to make sure everything is working. I wish all parks could be like this one. The young couple who purchased the campground a year ago have made many improvements making it welcoming to visitors from class A owners to tent campers. They are also friendly and very helpful. Over-the-air TV a bit spotty, but no big deal for us. While it appears that there are a number of longer-term RVs, the grounds are immaculate. For us this rates a "9"! Stayed for a week in June. Nice park. Easy to get around in. Big gravel sites. They tell you when you check in that it's windy in the area and they aren't kidding! WiFi no worky the whole time we were there. We were told they'd had a lightening strike. Verizon MiFi signal was good. Good place to stay and we would use it again if we were back in the area. This is a little jewel! The park is beautiful and clean. The site was level and long. Great utilities. The owner is awesome. She gave us all kinds of information and advice about Yellowstone. She practically apologized for charging $2 person after 4. That is not unreasonable! We will absolutely be back! We camped at Highline Trail RV Park in a Motorhome.
