Stayed in spot 6----VERY TIGHT TO ENTER!! Any rig over 34 foot long and towing will have to unhook the toad and swing far left before turning hard right into the spot. Any other length rig driver should get out and scope out the site before entering. Otherwise nice shaded level site. Good water pressure, average cable tv, stable electricity. Friendly hosts. We camped at The Longhorn Ranch Lodge & RV Resort in a Motorhome.

After reading previous reviews, we decided to stay here for 2.5 weeks in order to enjoy Grand Teton and Yellowstone. This is a very nice campground with friendly staff and the nicest bathrooms we have ever experienced. Great location on the Wind River with easy entry and exit and large sites. Some shade trees, but easy for satellite reception. We camped at The Longhorn Ranch Lodge & RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We stayed 4 nights with the wonderful people at The Longhorn Ranch. The service was second to none. We were on a family vacation with 2 teenaged boys who love to fish. Not being from the area a staff member was an amazing resource for us. Not only did he tell us what we needed to be successful, but he even came to our site to go through the tackle we had. Our site was beautiful, it backed up to the river and the sunsets were AMAZING every night. The bathroom/shower suites were incredibly clean as were the laundry facilities. There is also propane on site. Our site was gravel, but level with plenty of room. If we are ever out in that direction again we will be back! We camped at The Longhorn Ranch Lodge & RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

This is one of the nicest parks we have ever stayed at. Our site was on the river and was large enough to park 2 RVs side by side. Facilities are well maintained and staff is very friendly. We were there just before memorial day and had a snow storm so next time will go mind June. We camped at The Longhorn Ranch Lodge & RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

What a wonderful experience to have so much space and trees and peace around. They take great care of the facilities and have a lot of cabins for those who don't have the coach itch. I would definitely stay there again and enjoy the Wind River rushing beside the rig. We camped at The Longhorn Ranch Lodge & RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This RV park was clean, quiet, spacious, and a joy to stay at. Everything worked nicely as expected, from the showers to WiFi and the laundry services. There is a stable here for horseback riding, and wildlife was abundant. Very nice! Well done! We camped at The Longhorn Ranch Lodge & RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This is a very nice park. Unfortunately there were some fires in the area and for a couple of days it was quite smoky. Otherwise the place is beautiful. The hookups were where they should be and easy to access. We faced a large lawn area that sloped down to the river. We camped at The Longhorn Ranch Lodge & RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We had a spot in the "leafy tree" section about 150 feet from the Wind River. Site #28. Not super treed compared to some but level and quiet. Utilities were fine. Baths and showers were clean and nice. Lighting inside is abit low to see to shave or insert contact lenses but adequate for shower etc. Dog run was abit overgrown. We decided against using it. There are plenty of drives and river frontage to walk your dog. Store was pretty thin of supplies but did have dry firewood. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Would stay here again for sure! Nice Surprise After leaving southwestern Wyoming, we thought we'd have an easy day and so, we stopped in Dubois. What a cute little town! And absolutely beautiful surroundings. Who knew??? Longhorn was also an unexpected surprise. Lots of trees, shade, space between rigs, etc. Very quiet, very pleasant and the park staff could not have been nicer. They also offer a continental breakfast for all of their guests. A nice stay in a great little town. We camped at The Longhorn Ranch Lodge & RV Resort in a Motorhome.

The Cowboy Cafe in town is a winner. Mostly comfort food, but also some creative combinations for the gourmet eater. Solid for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

If you're going to stay in or near Dubois WY, this is the place to stay! Quiet. Convenient. Well maintained. Lots of trees and a beautiful river. I did not have time to fish the river. Full hookups available with good water pressure. No Sprint coverage and AT&T limited to 3G. Park WIFI was very reliable and I consistently got >35MB down/16MB up. Cable TV connection did not work well for me and only 4 OTA channels available; but I did not try hard nor did I contact the office. I was put into lot 19 and it was a bit small for me. I asked for a different lot and they put me in 5 and 6 for the same price. I used 6 to park my truck. There is a small store (w/ice) and a restaurant serving continental breakfast; I used neither. We camped at The Longhorn Ranch Lodge & RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

The local grocery store is about 3 mi away. It's a bit pricey and the fresh produce is understandably limited and not so fresh in some cases. That said, it's more than adequate. There is a refreshing lack of fast food franchises. The local hardware store has sufficient variety, sells ammo and also has an aisle dedicated to some basic RV supplies. You can get propane on site or in town.

Quiet, well-kept park with lots of trees, mountains, and rivers throughout the park. Dubois is the closest city to Yellowstone/Grand Tetons, so that is why we chose this park. Easy to navigate to the site, but I saw plenty of Class A's and Fifth Wheels struggle to get through some of the trees. Plenty of bathrooms available and they were spotless & cleaned every day. Very quaint park and designed for those that want to get away for a little while. Because this place charges a high premium, standards for judging this park should be quite high. I stayed for a month, and they charged over 1100 dollars (they said 950 over the phone). The owners were very hospitable, but some of the employees didn't seem to want to help. Wifi was absolutely terrible, and the electric went out a few times throughout my stay. If the price was similar to other parks, this place would get a 9 or maybe a 10. But when you charge a premium, you better deliver. However, I would absolutely stay here again and encourage others to do the same. We camped at The Longhorn Ranch Lodge & RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

We always enjoy our stay at this RV Park on the Wind River. The site was large and we could park our tow vehicle beside our motorhome. There is plenty of room between each site also. We had a river view site where we could watch the Geese and their babies feed in the grass area near the river and swim in the River. The Cottonwood Trees were shedding this time of year so it looked like their little piles of snow on the ground at times and the bugs well bugs will be bugs no matter what time of year. We will return to this park whenever we are in the area!!! We camped at The Longhorn Ranch Lodge & RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Go to Big Horn Sheep Interpretive Center, Cowboy Cafe, The Bistro, Pony Tracks Gift Shop, Welty's Historic General Store. Stop in Horse Creek Gallery & chat with local historian Monte Baker. His moose antler carvings are awesome. Several other art galleries & gift shops in town worth visiting. If you have time drive out to Torrey Lake and look for the Petroglyphs (Ancient Indian Rock Art). Longhorn RV Resort also offers awesome horseback trail rides into the Badlands!
