Access to the park was easy with good signage. Access road to the park was paved. Park roads are dirt/gravel and in very rough condition. Check in was quick, pleasant and informative. We chose this park because it was one of the few still open this late in the season. We requested a Power only site and that's all we paid for. When we arrived at our site we discovered that all services were available. We only needed and wanted the electric so that's all we used. I did request a wider site as we have opposing slides. I don't think my request was well received as we did get a bit of a wider space but we were parked right next to the garbage bin. The park was maybe 25% occupied. She could have done much better. Every time the lid slammed our dog went nuts. Our site, as well as all the rest, was nothing but a gravel parking lot. It did NOT come with a table, fire pit or patio. Services supplied were power and cable. We did not use the washrooms but did poke our heads in. They were clean, modern and well maintained EXCEPT.... There were NO doors for the toilets. There was just a shower curtain. The shower stalls did not have any privacy either. Had we needed to use theirs, we would have been most upset. There are no restaurants or services within walking distance. A shopping center is a few blocks away. We paid $29.70 with tax inc G S discount. We did not feel that we received good value. We would not return. - Rollin Ollens

Price includes taxes and a Good Sam discount. Our third time to Fort Casper but only because it is close to family members. Solid 50 amp electric and good water pressure. A lot of full-time residents in fact, I think the majority of the park are folks here long term. Most people obey the 5 MPH speed limit but there are those who do not and they kick up a fair amount of dust. Very close side-by-side parking with nothing between sites. WiFi is free but the reception is off and on depending on the time of day. Good Verizon LTE service and you wouldn't have a problem getting a satellite signal here. All that being said, I think we will check out another park in the area, especially given the price they are charging for basic RV parking. - StarlifterFE

Pull through and back-in FHU sites. Also have tent sites. Looks like a lot of full timers, but it was quiet and well kept. The "back-in" sites in the center were a bit confusing as we were told two RV's should fit in one section, but we are 50' combined between the RV & truck, and took up both sites. The water & electric were both good; we had WiFi and cable. The sites are all gravel with no grass. They have three very small dog parks, but there is river walk trail, which was very nice. - Kerch Family

We stayed here in a full hookup back-in site in the trees. Power and water were consistent and adequate. You'll need a splitter to share water with the neighbor. Sites were very narrow, and they were not long - ours was just long enough for our 30' motorhome, no room for our towed vehicle. If the adjacent RV site had been occupied, we would not have been able to put out our canopy - each site was 16' exactly wide. There was also an awkward orientation to the treed sites - the odd numbered sites would have required the sewer and hookups to be on the driver's side, or run the lines under the RV, or you'd have to nose into the site. We occupied an even numbered site, so we could back in (keeping super close to water and electric towers) and use our normal hookups. The hard dirt sites were fairly uneven, and required several blocks and strategic maneuvering to get level. There was a lot of leftover horse poo in some sites from the preceding annual fair, and therefore there were a lot of flies. The large trees take up a large part of some of the sites, but offer some desirable shade for at least the morning and midday. Most of the RV sites have no trees or shelter, including all the pull-through sites. It's dry, dusty, and hot here. We stayed here for 3 nights for the Casper Kennel Club Dog Shows, so dogs were allowed - the fairgrounds website states normally dogs not allowed. This is not a pretty site, but location is everything for dog shows, and we were close to the event building. Our camping was coordinated through the very helpful kennel club. - corglet

Stayed here for two nights passing through. I didn't have a problem navigating with my 35 ft travel trailer. However, some of the roads can be tight. My site was very spacious but shared an electric outlet with the neighbors. As with other reviews, the train makes this place unbearable for more than a night or two. Was also difficult turning into this place if you come from the west. There is a section for long-term residents which looks dumpy, but for those passing through, there is a nicer section which we were placed in. Bathrooms were adequate. Classic city campground. Would stay here for a night or two, but don't stay here long-term. - RLT1

This Park is old. Not very big rig friendly. Hard to access from the road. Needs work on maintenance and upkeep. Okay for a one-night stay. Be very cautious if coming in with big rigs - very tight. - SMMB
May 2018 - $45.00
Park is a mixture of long term renters and visitors. Park was next to a freeway on one side and a train track on the other. The train has an intersection that it blows its horn at each time it goes by (up to every two hours one night) We stayed for 3 very long nights as it went by each night. - Camping Jeeper

Nice clean park with all the basics, does not have cable, over the air was okay if you do not have a sat. very nice people in the office, not sure what others had problems with, they could not have been nicer. - tazman1953
Jul 2018 - $45.00
We have family in Casper, so we decided to try a couple of different parks. This one is 5 miles north of Casper with relatively easy access from I-25 (watch for the signs for the office; it's all the way to the western edge of the park). Staff was friendly and helpful. Interior roads are all gravel and we were able to maneuver a big rig without issue. Sites were well sized at 60-degree angles, gravel, and pretty level. Power was good, Wi-Fi was good (not secure and periodic drops when inactive), DirecTV and OTA were good, and VZW was good. There are not many perma-rigs (long-term residents). We were here over Independence Day and had a great view of the fireworks from the Casper Events Center by simply walking across the street with our folding chairs. - RvTravelerNTechie

Have stayed here numerous times and will continue when here to do awesome fly fishing. There are several private clean bathroom / great shower rooms. The sites are not that large but not so small either. They are level. Couldn't find recycling. Its also just off the beaten path and next to the river for part of the park. Wonderful mgr. - manonthemtn
Sep 2018 - $40.00
This is a popular park with many people returning when passing through Casper. It is not much more than a level, treeless, gravel parking lot in an industrial area. The park is VERY clean. The office also includes a laundry, showers, game room and a few snacks for sale. The majority of the sites are pull-thru, FHU with 50 and 30amp, but our site was one of the few w&e sites and at the edge of the park nearest the river. Each site has a metal picnic table and an approximate 8' x 12' piece of artificial turf on the gravel. Plenty of big rigs in this park. - SunStar203
Aug 2018 - $40.00
We were only here one night. We had to pay for a fhu site, even though we only wanted w/e. Utilities worked well. We were close to the office so got marginal WIFI. It is mainly available in the office/patio area. We had no shade and it was mid 90's. It is easy to get to off the I-25. Gravel sites, it is very dusty. There is a train very close, we heard it a couple of times between 10-11 pm....very loud horn! Not sure what the factory is next door, but they did put us on the other side of the office as they said they would be running that night and it is a little loud. Appreciative they did that. There is everything shopping/restaurant-wise nearby. - jacknpeg
