Perfect location for exploring Grand Teton NP. just outside of park. Helpful check in with guide to site. Sites in west area are pull through but small, almost empty when we were there, but could be problematic for big rigs during busy season. Pricey for what the park is but not for the location. Close to highway but noise was negligible. Good WiFi using WiFi Ranger We camped at Fireside Resort at Buffalo Valley in a Fifth Wheel.

With the parks in and around Jackson Hole, you pay for the location. We are glad we picked this park because it was very near the Moran side of the Grand Teton NP while also giving easy access to the south entrance of Yellowstone. The views of the Tetons from the park were fantastic. The sites and interior roads are gravel with a small grass area with picnic table at each site. The wifi at the park worked great. They have multiple locations with showers and bathrooms located around the park. The park is part of a restaurant, bar and convenience store. We highly recommend the wings and burgers at the restaurant as they were just what we needed after a long day of hiking in the Tetons. We camped at Fireside Resort at Buffalo Valley in a Motorhome.

Kind of a grassy "field" with campsites on it. They were just long enough for our rig and jeep and not very level. They get the price they are asking because of the location near the Tetons, I assume. Very weak phone bars (AT&T) and the wifi was spotty. Even our own hotspot was spotty. There was one garbage can a long ways, not a dumpster, one can. There is a small restaurant on site but we didn't eat there. Also, there's a small store. No other amenities. The Whetstone Restaurant a couple miles up the road has fantastic Idaho trout! We camped at Fireside Resort at Buffalo Valley in a Motorhome.

Although there are a number of CGs in Grand Teton and Yellowstone and the surrounding area, size can be an issue. This CG is just a few miles from the Moran entrance to Grand Teton National Park in Buffalo Valley and is pleasant because of its remoteness. Sites are close together gravel with WES. Gas and diesel fuel and food are available at the convenience store on site. Jackson is about 40 minutes away. Wifi is available but is stronger near the office. AT&T very weak. Tetons may be in sight in some sites. We were on the outside row so we overlooked a meadow and hills which was very pleasant. At 8PM there is a story telling cowboy and a bonfire at the CG. We camped at Fireside Resort at Buffalo Valley in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

On Wed, Fri and Sat in the summer there is a fun Rodeo in town. Most of the cowboys are young but it's entertaining. Not to be missed is the Bar J Chuckwagon. Dinner plus a singing, joking cowboy show is great for families. Harmony is incredible.

Staff was great, very friendly. Park had NO SHADE, and it was hot. Sites are very small/narrow, minimal grass and a rock/gravel pad (tent area was grassy). Decent location to Grand Tetons. Had Full Hook-up, no Cable and internet was only good around 5-6am. Most sites had fantastic view of the Tetons - our view was behind a row of shrubs. ~ Make sure you grocery shop before you come as the closest is on the west side of Jackson. We camped at Fireside Resort at Buffalo Valley in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Grand Tetons National Park was close by - 10 min to Moran Entrance. Jackson was about 35 min, that has the most restaurants and grocery shopping. We only found 2 small restaurants that were within 5 miles of the Park. Tons of hiking in the areas, much of the area is National Parks.

This was a very basic park way overpriced for what we got. Understand it’s by two national parks which drives the price. There are three separate campground areas yet only one dumpster for trash. Wi-fi was spotty at best (which the staff did state upfront). Staff was all courteous & helpful. We had some cell coverage (Verizon). We camped at Fireside Resort at Buffalo Valley in a Fifth Wheel.

Very expensive for what you get, but they filled up every night because there are not many options in the area. This campground can be summed up as a sunny RV parking lot with the Tetons in the distance. Pull through sites are a little short for trailer and truck. It was very quiet and Wifi signal was good. No dumpsters nearby, only one by the office. Required payment in full when I made a reservation one month in advance. We camped at Fireside Resort at Buffalo Valley in a Fifth Wheel.

What a huge disappointment! This was a grass field crammed with RV's. The price was for water, sewer and 30 amp service (50 amp cost even more!) The septic system seemed to be having problems since there was a constant mild "dump station" odor and an obvious gurgling sound in a pit just beyond the end row. The redeeming feature was a peekaboo view of the Tetons through the border trees and really nice campground neighbors! We camped at Fireside Resort at Buffalo Valley in a Fifth Wheel.

Convenient campground outside Teton park. However sites were very close together. Just enough space to put out awning between campers. No dog park but there was ample area around the campground to walk our dogs. Site was gravel with grass for the picnic table and a hole in the ground for a fire pit. Adequate but not spacious. No trees for shade. We stayed here for a week and found it acceptable. But thought it was expensive for what they had to offer. WiFi was barely useable. Views of the Tetons and wind river range were spectacular. We camped at Fireside Resort at Buffalo Valley in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed 4 nights visiting Grand Teton National Park. The staff was very courteous and pleasant. The restrooms and laundry were nice. The only negative was the lack of shade trees. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. We camped at Fireside Resort at Buffalo Valley in a Travel Trailer.

The price per night reflects all the taxes that gets added to your bill when you pay (the resort tax alone is $10 a day). The park is in a great location and beautiful views. Our site needed to be graded. It had pot holes that made it very difficult to get level. We got close. We didn't use the restrooms or showers only the laundry. The laundry room was dirty and the machines were not clean. Kinda gross!! There is a bar that is on site if you are into that. The gas station on site is big rig friendly. We camped at Fireside Resort at Buffalo Valley in a Motorhome.

Big rig friendly with level sites. Easy on/off to US26. Showers were good. Wi fi was okay during the day when no one was using. No dog park but grass was throughout the park with dog bags provided. Check in was at the gas station and then escorted to site. Expensive but paying for the location. We camped at Fireside Resort at Buffalo Valley in a Travel Trailer.

Grand Teton was 5 miles and easy access. Teton Village was 30 miles and Ride the Tram was worth the price with beautiful views. Recommend stocking up with groceries because no grocery store or restaurants nearby.

The campground was ok. Laundry was hard to get done, not enough washers and dryers for the people doing laundry. Showers were hard to get into as well. The only big problem I had was they damaged our propane tank and would not refund the money we lost on the propane alone. Our propane tank was fine until they filled it then after would not stop leaking. When we asked for a refund on the propane, a staff person hung up on me. We camped at Fireside Resort at Buffalo Valley in a Fifth Wheel.
