Sep 2018 - $100.00
We stayed here four nights with a 42' MH towing our jeep. We had a nice level 90' site on a end cap. Perfect for us with pets. Park was well managed and clean. Great location for bike trails, walking and a few good Restaurants. - RHA 1987
Aug 2018 - $125.00
Very clean and well maintained. Close to Teton Village and Jackson. We would definitely stay here again.
Only negative comment I could make would be the laundry room which only had two washers working. Everything else was great!! - Sharlene
Jul 2018 - $135.00
We stayed 7 nights in July 2018 in a "Premium Pull Through" site. We paid $135/night plus 2% Lodging Tax plus 4% State Tax plus 2% Teton Tax plus 7% Resort Fee. Total paid was $1,086.75 or $155.25 avg per night. If you haven't already gathered, Jackson is very popular and the entire area is expensive in every way. There are not many choices for big rigs and full hookups especially if you want to be anywhere near town. This park is a little tight to maneuver in and the sites are by no means spacious. The utilities were well positioned and worked perfectly. Wifi was great during the day but slow in the evening. We had clear sky for DirecTV. We loved this area and enjoyed our time here. The park isn't perfect and the price is painful but it's where we wanted to be and it delivered what it promised. If in the area, I would be willing to stay again. Here are a few navigating tips. 1. If you are coming from the East (we drove from Cody through Yellowstone & Grand Teton), stay on Highway 191. Do NOT take Moose Wilson Road as a shortcut ... as our GPS instructed). Moose Wilson Road has a sign right away saying it is not for trucks/RVs. Fortunately there was an area immediately where we could turn off. We had to unhook our toad and drive separately (back on 191) the remaining 17 miles to the CG. Fortunately no harm/no foul. You will have to drive through downtown Jackson but it's do-able. 2. Our GPS guided us right to the entrance of the CG. When headed north on Moose Wilson Road, look for the "Calico Bar & Restaurant" sign on the right. Slow way down and be prepared to turn hard right into a gravel road narrow enough to almost be a one lane road. You'll drive past a row of nifty modern wood cabins, under an archway and then you'll see the office/check-in area. 3. If heading West when leaving, do NOT take the 22. It is a mountain pass with a 10% grade. We were advised to take 191 to Hoback then 89 to 26 to Idaho Falls (beautiful scenery) to catch the I-15. - GottaGoNow

Jul 2010 - $86.00
We found this park to have very little as forms of creature comforts for the nightly rate of $86 + tax. The sites were mostly small and unimproved dirt which turned to mud after a rain shower. The restrooms and showers were dirty from people tracking in the mud. Most sites would require some leveling blocks in order to level your rig. The staff was not very helpful and unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend this campground if anything else was available. Best described as overpriced and mediocre. - yachtjockey
Jul 2008 - $59.00
No longer a KOA park, new owners. The entrance is not well marked and tight to get around in a big rig. The park needs some TLC but it appears the owners are working toward. There are a few spots with plenty of room for Big Rigs. WI-FI and Cable worked well at our site. - Mullet Republic LLC
May 2007 - $58.00
This RV park was sold in 2006. It was suppose to be developed but the new owner is having permit problems. He reopened it in May 2007 as the Moose-Wilson Campground. It is treed but the sites are tight. Through no fault of his own, he is not really too knowledgeable about running a campground. But he is trying. The staff is also inexperienced. I suspect he will close the campground as soon as he gets the permits to develop the area. But with Teton Co., who knows when that will happen. There are few options in Jackson Hole for full hookup camping. I suggest reservations for the high season June - mid-Sept. Perhaps even later. - Snake River Kid

Sep 2018 - $110.00
Way too expensive for what you get ($110 night with G.S. discount plus taxes) but it's what the market will bear. This is the only RV park in the area that has utilities other than Colter Bay RV Park ($60) inside Grand Teton National Park so they charge what they want. The park is older with no other amenities so it is not a good value except that you are in Jackson with access to the National Park and the town of Jackson. The owner/managers are nice enough but on the phone the woman I spoke with was rather "short" - not as helpful as I would have thought for $100 a night. We were in sight 33 and were able to get a good DirecTV satellite signal. The Wifi was sometimes OK and other times horrible. For $110 a night they could upgrade. Cable TV has limited channels. Sites were fairly level, gravel and the utilities were all fine. Contrary to another review - it was not easy to find. The park is actually on Virgina Lane (not Broadway.) The Lodge is on Broadway and there is a small sign low to the ground that indicates RV Park. The restrooms are fine - older but clean. The showers are very small but clean. The park is well kept. The rules say don't park on grass but they don't enforce it - a lot of sites are too small to keep your rig and vehicle off the grass. Probably wouldn't stay here again - would try Colter Bay. The park is actually on Virginal Lane (not Broadway.) Coming from the N.P. direction use the Truck Route to avoid downtown Jackson traffic. - NiMo
Aug 2018 - $100.00
We stayed here with our caravan group. 4 of our rigs were over 40" and could not stay there. All the remainder of our group had gravel pull thru sites close together. The park is close to downtown Jackson and convenient to other services. The staff was helpful and friendly. We were able to use the pool and hot tub at the Lodge. - NYParsels
Aug 2018 - $106.00
Location, location, location. We stayed in town of Jackson because it was convenient for us doing an Arts and Craft fair in Miller Park. The week before our arrival they gave us the wrong address to have mail forwarded and it was returned to our forwarding service. The interior entrance is full of pot holes and the rest of the park isn't much better. Had a few problems with low voltage when the temp was in the 90's. My feeling is that, for $106.00 plus tax per night, this place should be perfect!!!! - MandalayJim

Sep 2018 - $29.00
We stayed here for the month of September. We really like the Tetons and this is the best campground to explore it from. Yes it's dry camping for $29/night but check the private campgrounds in town and see what they charge. It's insane. This location is much better than in town for exploring the Park. And moose routinely roam through the campground! We were here last year for September as well. They're in the process of repaving the roads and sites so it should be very nice next year. Hope they don't increase the rates! - RoadtripImages dot com
Jul 2018 - $53.00
I was so nervous about the first come, first served campground process at Yellowstone. We arrived around 4pm so we paid for one night at a non-electric site. It is a weird process where you drive around and pick an open site and come back to sign up for it. You need to have a list of sites in case someone else is zipping around looking for a site and beats you to it. Then we got up early the next morning and were at the office by 7:40am with a list of electric sites that had our date on the site as their checkout date. Those sites aren't a guarantee - the occupant can always go and add more dates. But we had a list of all of the sites with our date as their checkout and they were listed from favorite to least favorite. Our #2 choice had already left by 8am when the office opened and, since we were first in line, we grabbed that spot. Behind our site was the river and we walked to it two different afternoons. There are no showers. We drove to Climbers Ranch for a shower. It was about a 35 minute drive. $5 per person for a shower. The shower curtains were white and nearly transparent and once wet they were practically clear. Luckily there were only two other ladies in the small bathroom but I was still a little uncomfortable being on display while I took a shower. We decided not to do that again and took super quick showers in the RV. That did mean we needed to dump more often. As other reviewers have said, the lines can be long. But everyone is pretty mellow - you are on vacation after all! We saw a Moose in our campground's inner loop one morning. She was resting in the grass and after an hour or so she was up and eating heading our way! That was really neat. There is also a mom Moose and two babies just up the road heading toward Jackson - if there are a lot of cars pulled over, you know they are visible. I had NO T-Mobile and my husband had NO Verizon. You are in a dead zone! - OurBigAdventure
Jul 2018 - $29.00
Hands down our favorite campground of the trip. Loop C is beautiful -- sagebrush punctuated by cottonwoods with the Gros Ventre river flowing by. And Loop C is freshly paved in its entirety, which we appreciate because it cuts down on the dust. It also rained while we were there so that helped too. Caught cutthroat trout and grilled them over the fire for dinner. Beautiful, fragrant, lovely campsite. We had no hookups, no electric, no water, no sewer, no showers, no problem. We ran the generator for about an hour each evening to keep the batteries charged. The few electric sites are away from the river. We prefer the outer loop closest to the river. Our request at the gate was, "a campsite big enough for a 35 foot fifth wheel. My husband loves to fish so as close to the river as possible". And that's exactly what they gave us. Perfect! Wheezy old flush toilets in the restrooms and a sink. Dump on the way out. Get up early -- 300 plus campers and one dump station. Don't care! The setting and the river make up for it. We "bathed" in the river each night. Hiked each day. VIsited Jackson a couple of times to poke around and have a meal. - GordonsvilleGal

Jun 2018 - $100.00
For $100 per night I expect paved interior roads, a level site, more than thin gravel to park on, and more than 15' to the adjoining rig, and internet that works. Not even on Sunday morning after guests had left could we connect. The ONLY saving grace is the very nice staff. Be aware there are only 23 RV sites, and most of those wouldn't handle a class A. They focus on cabins and tent campers. Stay elsewhere would be my suggestion. - AirstreamR
Jun 2017 - $99.00
Although this is the most expensive place we have ever camped, the facilities were the worst! Our space was 24' long for our 24' trailer. They divided a normal pull thru into into two back ins. They was not room for our truck which we had to leave in a parking spot near the main road with no apparent security. The sewer connection was in the middle of our tiny spot far from our connection. When we asked about it, the campground rep said he always carried two sewer hoses and that we should but another which I'm sure they sell at the campground store. Finally when I talked to another employee about the time space, he said they turn away 50 per day and that I could leave if I wanted. I will never come back here! - Klm51
May 2016 - $42.00
We were supposed to stay at Gros Ventre, but it hadn't opened yet. Our motorhome was too big for the facility, but they allowed us in anyway since they had vacancy. Bathrooms were individual facilities. Spacious and clean. Great that it was so close to the Snake River. Really enjoyed walking along the river. Fairly close to town and easy to get in and out. Only drawback was how packed together the sites are. - RLBradley

Aug 2015 - $35.00
We stayed late July into early Aug. The majority of our rating was based on the owners of the park. They as far as I'm concerned, family. It's got all you need as a base camp to explore Wyoming. Eight of the 23 spots are first come first served. The rest are seasonal stays. Yes it's road based but hey, throw out your mats. We stayed longer because of the owners giving us all kinds of suggestions of places to go. We were never disappointed. We kept calling from our camp in Idaho and when they thought someone was leaving, we sent out one in our party in the tow vehicle to be next in line for the spot and it worked. If you want pristine accommodations then keep on driving. Read the other positive reviews for more info. I would definitely stay here again. We stayed in 35' motor home with a tow car.

Sep 2014 - $35.00
This campground is only 13 miles out of town. Check-in was very convenient, people were very nice and helpful, full hook-ups with good water pressure and no problem with 50 amp service. We were in a 43' RV with tow and was easily accommodated. The only problem is that they do not accept reservations. After checking out the other campgrounds in the area, $35.00 a night compared to $65 and $75 a night is a real bargain. We stayed 3 nights and would definitely stay here again. - Travel Well
Aug 2013 - $35.00
This is a very clean, well maintained and friendly park. It is tight, but very easy to pull in and out. Most sites are seasonal sites, but there are a few daily sites. You cannot make reservations, it is on a first come, first serve basis. There is road noise, but most of it dies down by sunset. The park itself is very quite. You could not ask for better hosts. They are friendly and helpful. Rates are very reasonable and fair. I would highly recommend this park and would not hesitate to stay again. - LRunningbrook

Sep 2018 - $65.00
The campground is easy access just off Idaho RT 33. Roads and sites are gravel throughout and relatively close together. The CG is a bit of an urban experience as there are cabins, yurts, tents, and RVs everywhere. Our site was near the office and the play area so we had lots of traffic coming and going and children playing. We drive a 45 foot MH with a tow which we drove connected into our site. Once disconnected, there was barely room for the car and the motorhome but it was manageable. The sites are of many different lengths so almost everyone finds a spot that fits although navigating the campground is tight for longer rigs. We backed out of our site when leaving as we were not able to pull forward given other traffic in the travel lane, which was very common with many of the sites being just barely big enough for whatever was in it. The sites are gravel with small sections of grass in between, no picnic tables or other amenities. The utilities are placed mid site and worked well enough, water pressure was a bit low at high volume times but electric and sewer worked well. Satellite reception was good in our specific site but it is possible that some sites would not get good reception due to trees. OTA reception essentially non-existent. Wi-Fi very spotty and did not work well for use for the week we were there. Verizon reception was moderate but good enough for gently internet surfing. There is no cable. The showers and guest areas within the office were newly renovated and nice, although we did not use them. There is no defined dog area but there are lots of grassy areas that people used to walk their dogs. Children enjoyed the blown up slide and the pool. There is lots of construction ongoing so it was noisy in the daytime and and noisy at night with kids playing. Office staff were very friendly and helpful. I am uncertain if we would stay here again given the size of our rig, our experience with getting in and out, and the crowdedness of the whole place. - LvR
Sep 2018 - $40.00
Good wifi. Site very narrow with small trees, no picnic table, no fire ring, other sites were better. Large field adjacent where dogs could run free. Lots of construction debris about. We would stay there again on our way through just as an overnight stay. - JacknLorie
Sep 2018 - $50.00
The staff here is very helpful. The park is clean, as are the restrooms/showers. Our site was pull-through, but just long enough for our 31' rig and toad (parked sideways). The sites and roads are gravel. There is very little grass, so if you have dogs, you have to walk to the back of the park to an unmoved field or fenced in dog area. The park holds a BBQ on Friday night with AYCE burgers, hot dogs, fries, fruit salad and s'mores for $7 per adult and $4 for kids. It is convenient to Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, and Jackson Hole. - Capt.Deb

A fabulous place to stay with your horses in beautiful country! This visit was hassle and headache free because of the owner and her facility. She is available to help with any of your needs or travel snafus and will keep an eagle eye on the condition of your horses. Her place is warm and welcoming. As a single gal traveling with horses cross country, the owner helps to make your stay stress free. The other campers were all great people from all over the US. I will go again. - Laura Lojko

ADMIN NOTE 5-14-18: It has been reported that this facility now only accepts horse trailers which have living quarters.
Very nice farm area close to Jackson and Grand Teton park. Perfect for horses owners of course, but very valuable too if you like nature and animals and got an RV. My son enjoyed to help feeding the farm animals and the horses. Owner provides a complete guide set very useful to do activities in the neighborhoods. We had a 24 ft RV with slide out and we had no parking issue at all and the place was easy to find. It's not a big structure so it remains very friendly. We enjoyed seeing the 2017 great eclipse and owner did not increase the price for this event as some others did. We will return straight to this nice place next time in Teton NP. - daniel_from_france
Aug 2017 - $50.00
This spot was a fabulous surprise. The owner attended to our every need, providing plenty of extras. She also allowed our 4 yr old daughter to help with farm chores, including brushing her miniature horse and collecting eggs from her chickens. This felt like a b&b for campers and is great for children. At night we sat around the communal fire making s'mores, cocktails and chatting. We caught a bunch of fish at the river right down swim this spot as well. We'll definitely be back. - Joellegebo

This is a Forest Service campground. It is small and located on Big Elk Creek. There is hiking, fishing, and boating in the area. The camp host/hostess are very nice and take good care of the camp. There aren't many amenities, but for a primitive campground, it is clean and well run. - cactuslady

To get to the entrance you have to go to Driggs Idaho. Head east to Alta, WY. Enter the area on a rough, pot-hole riddled gravel/dirt road. Travel 4 miles to get to the campgrounds and there is free range cattle, moose and deer. Take your time and be careful. Not sure who cares for the road, but already sent an email to the USFS as it is terrible. high clearance vehicle can handle it, if towing a trailer just take your time. My scores are lower only because of the poor road care. The campground is located at the foot of the Tetons. This place is nice just to relax with hiking and fishing close. Spent 2 days relaxing here before the long drive home. Had deer slowly walk through the campground. Moose was seen in the distance. The host took the time to introduce himself. The grounds and pit restrooms were clean. Most of the lots are short. My 19' R-Pod and Jeep took the whole campground area. Not much more room at the pull throughs. There is a picnic table, fire ring and BBQ grill. Cell service is reliable before camp at the entrance... after that it is spotty to non-existent. - ChrisInJesupIA
