    Hi All.
We need to find an experienced campground appraiser for a campground in WV, eastern panhandle area. Can anyone give some referrals?
    Thanks.

If the end goal involves a loan, changes to banking regulations following the banking crisis requires the lending institution to retain an independent appraiser who has no business relationship to either the seller or the buyer. If it is for the purposes of estate liquidation, divorce, partnership dissolution etc. be aware a professional park appraisal may cost in excess of $5,000 to $10,000. If the park isn't a large operation, you might be much better off just getting a commercial appraiser in your area. They will likely come pretty close to an accurate appraisal since RV parks aren't really that complicated.

It's an all cash sale for a campground that has less than 50 sites. We are paying for the appraisal, not the owner. He already accepted our offer, and will take less if the appraised value is less. The undeveloped land is worth more than the business part of it.
