You can always see manatees in Crystal River though they are fewer during summer months.
Panama City Beach RV Resort is a great place to stay. The resort is very close to the beach. We went there two years ago.
Tengonet doesn't have the best connection, though not the worst either. imho
I also run mine while traveling, but I think it is a good idea to shut it off while fueling your propane tank.

Not pool, but Huntington Beach has a City RV park though a little pricey.
