Traveling in a 34' motor home from Niagara Falls to Hillman Ferry Campground in KY.
Route directions have me taking the Western Kentucky Parkway for 98 miles. Everything I have read appears it is safe to take this parkway. Would love an opinion.

That Parkway (I-69) is good. Not as isolated as you might think.; it's controlled access but there is fuel along the way as well as stops at the major hiways.
Some time during your stay at that CG, drop down to the Land-Between-the-Lakes NRA Bison and Elk wildlife preserve. $5 entrance fee (automatic gate) and you drive through. Only takes 20 minutes to go through, but still pretty interesting. South on the Woodlands Trace.
